In Greek Mythology Theseus, a brave youth, who willingly sailed to Crete to fight Minotaur, half-man and half-bull, wandering a labyrinth built to contain him by King Minos. To appease the horrifying beast the king sends 7 youths and 7 maidens as a sacrifice for the Minotaur. Theseus falls in love with the King’s daughter, Aciadne. She gives Theseus a ball of thread to find his way back from the maze.
The play is to escape the maze and avoid the ferocious Minotaur who will devour you as quickly as he can. You must keep in mind that the Minotaur will move when you move and that he will always move horizontally before he moves vertically. This takes a lot of planning before you can escape to the stairs. The levels start out easily but gets very challenging quickly and the loud roar of the Minotaur eating you is daunting. You do not want this to happen so strategize your escape in order to avoid this ferocious enemy.
The puzzles are extremely difficult and getting out safely may not be in your cards. However, do not fret, the game gives you unlimited undo buttons and you can regroup to win the battle. If there is no way you can get out without being attacked, there is a solution button to show you the proper exit procedure.
This Mac puzzle is more than challenging and will address all your brain power in order to escape safely. Theseus and the Minotaur is a 
puzzle to beat all puzzles. It will exercise your mental fitness to its fullest and may destroy your sanity with its many levels in the tortuous maze of King Minos. The sound effects of the Minotaur are quite convincing and I’ll never get used to being devoured by him. I didn’t really get into this puzzle perhaps it took too much brain power or it was too stressful. Although I may not be up to the challenge of this Mac game, I’m more than certain many of you will be able to conquer the Minotaur and save the youths and maidens.
