EcoRescue-Project Rainforest Review
The world’s rainforests are being destroyed by man and will soon disappear if no one does anything about it. This is not a threat but is proving to be the truth sooner than later. In Mac hidden object game EcoRescue – Project Rainforest the objective is to educate first and entertain second in many forms of puzzles.
The play is like any other HOG where there are a lot of items scattered throughout the rainforest. Surely you will agree that this is an ugly
and sad sight against the most beautiful background. You go around the world cleaning up mess caused by man. There’s a hint button, and it recharges, but very slowly. So slowly in fact it can carry over to the next level. It’s a good thing the HOG play is easy enough to endure this slow charging help.
In addition to the searching for items on the list, is locating a number of one kind of thing or animal like finding 5 marmots. Another is to
compare 2 photos for the differences. A mini puzzle is a jigsaw. You will be putting together pieces of an endangered animal. This game is not difficult but it is hard to turn each piece around to fit the puzzle.
There’s a lot to do in this game, but many of the scenes are repeated and so are the objects. The pictures are beautiful and stunning of amazing animals and birds. The information, although important, is overwhelming when you just want to play a game. There are a lot of
written words to read before you can play. This continues through the entire game. If this game is intended for children, the writing is still too long for kids to ingest. Perhaps if it is broken into shorter spurts of information between more puzzles, it will help the player enjoy the experience. Another way of passing data to people would be to do a multiple-choice test. Just a thought. Decide for yourself if you like this game. I give this game a 3 out of 5 for it’s information and awesome photos.
