Mac game Slide Colors gives you 3 plays with 2 difficulty levels for only $4.95! How can you beat that price? You get a puzzle and 2 match 3 or more to eliminate games.
The Puzzle play gets very challenging as the levels get higher. You will find a grid with a few colored outlined boxes and color tiles. You need to place the same color tile within the same colored outlined boxes. The puzzle part comes in because you can only move an entire row or entire column at a time so if 2 tiles are in one row and you slide the row to the right, both tiles will move to the right. I liked this play the best out of the 3. It took a lot of thinking to move the tiles into the appropriate boxes.
The Time Attack is your basic match 3 colors to destroy. With this game you must reach the level points before you move on to the next stage. To make a match you slide a row back and forth or a column up and down. This play is similar to Chuzzle and Gem Shop. The Clear Blocks game is to remove all the metallic squares to clear the level. In 
both of these plays you can get special blocks when you make 5 or more matches. These blocks will destroy 1 entire row across and 1 entire column. It’s very useful when you have to beat the clock. Another special block is one that will destroy a number of blocks after you reach 300 points. When you come across an X, you cannot move that row and column.
On the screen the hint button will show you where there is a match, but your time will be decreased. It’s worth losing time since you are wasting time looking for a match any way. The bar on the right will show you how much time you have left.
These different games are good, even though the sliding sometimes feels like it is sticking and you need to move to another square to drag the row or column. I would have liked more power-ups and explosions to create more action, but getting the Puzzle play by itself is worth the $4.95, on top of that you get 2 more games. You have nothing to lose with this cost effective Mac game.
