Agatha Christie – Death on the Nile Review

Sailing down the Nile in a luxury ship can be relaxing and carefree unless you are on board with criminals intent on murder. Take a journey of your life on Mac hidden object game Agatha Christie – Death on the Nile. Solve the case of the murdered wife while possible suspects are looming abroad the ship. The story begins with the shooting of Simon Doyle and the murder of Linnet Doyle. Luckily Hercule Poirot, the Belgian detective, happens to be on board to take charge of the investigation.

For each suspect you have between 2 to 4 rooms to search for hidden objects in a level. On the left of the screen is the items list to be investigated. There are 5 hints for the entire level, so do not use them in one room. You may need one in another room. You even search the room with the dead body, but it is not horrific or scary like Women’s Murder Club – Death in Scarlet. There will be the opportunity to interrogate suspects to narrow down the list. In the salon you can question suspects for clues. This part of the game is optional but going through the questioning does help you figure out who the culprit is. The suspects you can talk to are highlighted, click on the character you wish to speak to and choose the question you would like to ask. Later, you may find more clues and need to go back and question further. In the notebook you can review the responses you got earlier and the timer is paused so you can spend amble time here without worrying about the “face with no eyes”.

There are a few mini games such as finding all the pieces and putting it together. The main play is the hidden object where you meet interesting characters like Louise the maid, find out their background, search their whereabouts on the ship, and make a logical conclusion on whodunit. Agatha Christie – Death on the Nile is like reading one of her novels. It’s very British with proper gentlemen and women, but is it always what it appears? Searching and gathering clues will unveil more than what is on the surface to rundown a murderer. This play is a good, basic HOG for entertainment and fun. The artwork is good and clear, and the music is appropriate for the era so take a cruise down the mysterious Nile and explore the inner sanctions of the rich.
